What is “redistricting”?

Every ten years, Michigan’s state senate, state house, and U.S. Congressional maps are redrawn. This process is known as “redistricting.”

Is the most recent redistricting process complete?

Yes. The Independent Citizen's Redistricting Commission adopted final maps for Congress, the state senate, and the state house on December 28, 2021. You can view those final maps here. These maps will be in use beginning with the 2022 elections.
